I won’t run Nigeria like Zoo if reelected, Zoologist President Jonathan says


President Goodluck Jonathan today stated that he will govern Nigerians in a manner that protects their freedom, if re-elected, rather than promote an atmosphere of intimidation similar to what operates in a typical zoo, TheCable reported.

According to TheCable, The president, stated this while speaking in Ilorin, capital of Kwara state, in continuation of the nationwide presidential campaign rallies of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of next month’s election.
Listing his achievements in the outgoing tenure, he said he had done so much in terms of road infrastructure, agriculture, and small and medium scale enterprise.

Goldman hikes yuan exchange rate forecasts, cites U.S. trade ties

  LONDON (Reuters) - Goldman Sachs has upped its 12-month yuan/dollar exchange rate forecast to 6.20 yuan from 6.45 previously, predicting that trade relations with the United States would limit China’s ability to weaken its currency.
