Overnight shooting leaves 1 dead, 1 critically injured in Minneapolis

A man was fatally shot and a woman was critically injured in a parked car in south Minneapolis early Monday.

When police arrived at the middle of the 2800 block of 15th Avenue S., they found a parked car in which the man was dead and the woman was wounded. She was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center and was in critical condition. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.

The shooter had fled by the time officers arrived and no arrest has been made, Elder said.
